She’s always wanted to be a Real Estate Broker, and is excited to have the opportunity to help people and still get to be home with her and her husband Tim’s two children, Andrew and Saphira. The draw to real estate for Jennifer is the challenge, the opportunity to meet new people, and the ability to help others find the perfect place to call home, all of which are things Jennifer truly cares about. Her favorite aspect of the job is the hunt, and her past experiences with DIY projects and building their own home gives her a unique perspective. Her advice for buyers is to be patient, keep an open mind, and don’t settle for what you don’t want.
In addition to her new career as a real estate broker, Jennifer runs an established refurbishing business called Drab to Fab Furniture and More, which she describes as: “a creative outlet where I bring new life to old pieces and put my DIY skills to good use.” She’s excited to bring her passion for helping people and her customer service skills to the real estate field, and can’t wait to get started helping you find the home of your dreams.

A Southern Illinoian born and bred, Tim graduated from Vienna High School. He continued his high school baseball career through college, earning his Bachelor of Science in Management/Marketing at Union University in Jackson, TN, and a Masters of Management from Oakland City University. After spending over 20 years working with and educating inmates for the Illinois Department of Corrections, Tim retired as Associate Dean from Lake Land College’s IDOC program. Tim currently serves as the Senior Pastor at Outer West Market Church of Christ and has for over 10 years. Just like the real estate business, Tim is always looking for new and exciting ways to grow his church.
Tim became a Real Estate Broker because he enjoys helping people find their dream homes, ensuring they find something that meets all of their needs. Tim loves all outdoor sports, especially hunting and fishing, and enjoys the challenge of finding the perfect spot for the best catches. He brings this enthusiasm to real estate, getting the same “rush” while searching for the perfect home for a family or trying to find a buyer that fits a listing. “The hunt is the exciting part, then the work starts.” He likes knowing that people on all sides of a deal come away knowing that he will do his utmost to be honest and forthright with everyone involved.
Tim’s advice for buyers is to get pre-qualified for your mortgage so you have a defined price range to look at. For sellers, Tim advises that landscaping and curb appeal go a long way.
Tim and his wife Kerry have been married for over 20 years and have a beautiful daughter, Rylee.
Real estate has been part of her world for years. She spent extensive time behind the scenes as a transaction coordinator, learning the ins and outs of the process and helping deals make it to the closing table. Now, she’s stepping into this next chapter and is excited to serve clients directly.
Outside of real estate, she is a mom to two beautiful children and a former military spouse. She grew up as a dual military kid, which meant moving often before eventually settling in Tennessee, where she met and married her husband while he was serving in the Army. They spent time in Georgia, where they welcomed their daughter, and later moved to Illinois after his military service ended to be closer to family before welcoming their son.
Although she has officially lived in Illinois for less than a year, it has always felt like home. Frequent visits over the years and deep family roots made the move an easy and natural choice.
She is passionate about helping people navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives. Whether buying, selling, or simply asking questions about the process, she strives to be a trusted resource every step of the way.
